I am glad David Cook won- though Archuleta smoked him in the finale.
The next live show will NOT BE Sunday- taking the weekend fully off and will go LIVE on MONDAY NIGHT at 7pm Eastern!

I doubt that you …
I doubt that you get Canadian Idol in the States, Buck, but this has actually happened before. In Season 2, it was down to the final 3: Theresa, Kalan, and Jacob. They were all decently talented, and definitely deserved to be there. Anyways, Jacob actually asked his fans not to vote for him so that he could pursue a future with his band Hedley rather than as a solo singer. He has outsold any other CI star, as far as I know. So it could have been smart for Cook to try it…but that plan failed

David Cook …
David Cook attempting to throw it is probably true. For a majority of the crowned Idols their runners up or other members of the top 10 manage to outshine them in some way, be it in singing or acting or whatever. I think people are just getting sick of the show and are rapidly losing interest in the winners because its so cliche. Also they have more of a choice when it comes to what label they get to sign with and the direction of their music because their identity isn’t “The Next Big Pop Idol.”
