remember in like, the first episode of season 3. lincon is called to identify a body that is belived to be sara. when he gets to the mourge it isnt her but somone who looks very similar. i think the head in the box was that womens not saras.

the head in the box was sara’s. lincoln seemed to be very sure of it, if it did belong to that dead woman, he would be able to recognize the difference as he did in the earlier episode.
